前作SYMPHONY OF ENCHANTED LANDSでRhapsodyの名声を一気に上げ、その絶対的な人気を不動のものにした作品とも言えるべき今作では、ルカ・トゥリッリがソロアルバム「King of the Nordic Twilight」発表後として、メタル的部分も大きく取り入れられ、更に高品質なアルバムへと姿を変えていく。

シンフォニックでの荘厳な表現と、ヘヴィメタルのアグレッシブさとの融合で楽曲もコンパクトに纏められており、完成度の質を更に向上させた作品でもある。
